Women's Masters this year will be held in Maryborough:
April 18th - Thursday - Women's Masters Trials - 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+ & All GK's
Friday 19th April to Sunday 21st April - Women’s Masters State Championships
Age elibility is now over 34 years
The Over 35 Championship at each HA Championship will now become the Over 34 Championship.
Players who will be 34 years of age by 31st December 2020 (i.e. Born 1986) are eligible to compete in the HA Over 34 years Championships for Women and Men.
Exemptions for under age players born 1987 will not be approved.
All other age Championships will remain the same i.e. Over 40, Over 45, Over 50 etc.
The change to the Over 34s Championship will allow selectors to identify players who are able, in the following year, to represent Australia for World Cup or Trans-Tasman Challenge international events as an Over 35s player.
Consequently, for 2020 HQ Women’s Masters Championships, players who were born in 1986 or earlier will be eligible to represent their Associations and nominate to play for Queensland.
